Are Online Classes Difficult?
The first thought that comes to someone’s mind when they hear about people getting online degrees is that it is a piece of cake compared to actually going to the college or university and taking the classes in person. Well I’m here to tell you they are gravely mistaken. There are several different online degree programs that are offered that have extremely hard classes to take, mainly because they are online and it makes it more difficult.
To elaborate on the difficultness of some online classes that you may not have even considered. One is math. Math is super hard to take online because there really is no direction and you don’t have an instructor showing you how to solve the problem. Let’s face it when you sit down to do your math homework don’t you look through the book over and over again trying to get the concept even after the teacher has explained it. Well magnify that feeling a hundred times because you are essentially the teacher and you have to teach yourself, which is not an easy task. So if you are not good in math or need a little extra help maybe you should consider taking math in person at a local community college to get that credit out of the way. Also going for an accounting degree can be very difficult online as well. So if you think you would struggle or would need some extra guidance with that subject than maybe you should consider one of the other many online degrees that are available.
In conclusion, the difficultness of the classes really boils down to the type of degree you are going after. If you know you have weakness in certain subjects highly consider taking them a t community college if those subjects a required for the degree you want. Also don’t be afraid to ask to help or get a tutor for an online class, regardless if you are getting a degree online you still are responsible for the knowledge they teach you.
