The college entrance exam is important because it can actually gauge your strengths and areas for improvement. You may even be able to decide which course fits your interests and your skills.
So what does it take to pass the entrance exam? First and foremost, do not cram. Cramming or procrastination will only lead you to fail. You should come to your exam date prepared and with a fresh state of mind. It is never tolerable to take the test without preparation, just like in any other thing you need to do.
Preparation should not only be in terms of sleeping early and getting to the examination venue on time. You should have reviewed some lessons in your basic subjects by taking some review classes or through the aid of review books that are available in your favorite book store. You may want to place emphasis on your English and Math skills as these are the most common subjects you need to focus on when you are applying for either a traditional university or an online university.
You need not study all in one passing. If you are really bent on entering a good school, you can start your review bit by bit. Do not forget your lessons. Track your progress by keeping a notebook and record the things you have done and you still need to do. Take time to read and understand your books. Read the dictionary as vocabulary is one of the basic examinations you have to take.
Preparing for your college entrance examination need not be boring and stressful. You can be as creative as you can in terms of trying to learn and remember. The University of Phoenix Online Information

The University of Phoenix Online is probably one of the most recognized and most popular of the online colleges that are out there. Due to the fact that they do a lot of advertising on television, on the radio and when you type in “online universities” in Google they are one of the first online colleges that pops up. Of course the fact that they offer numerous online degrees helps out too.
The University of Phoenix Online had been around since 1989, and holds the credit of being the first online university to be accredited. The university also has a great reputation for being a fairly good online college that offers great online degrees. Their online programs are considerable efficient that they are able to get their student to earn 27 credits in one year opposed to the 15 one would earn at a traditional college. Also they only allow 11 students per class allowing the teacher to be available more for questions and concerns. However, there are some downsides to this college. A lot of the students who have received online degrees from this university are not pleased. They found that the teachers were disorganized and there was a huge lack of communication. Also their technology seems to be in the dark ages and hasn’t caught up with recent upgrades.
This just goes to show that something that is popular and well recognized may not be the best. That is why it is highly important to due research on which ever online college you wish to attend. Read reviews of past students and find out if businesses will accept online degrees from that school.
